The 37th Annual GMA Music Awards are scheduled for April 5, 2006 in Nashville, Tennessee. Wayne Haun is honored with four nominations including Southern Gospel Album of the Year (Brian Free & Assurance, Live in New York City), Bluegrass Album of the Year (The Lewis Family, One Rose), Instrumental Album of the Year (Songs of Remembrance), and Bluegrass Song of the Year ("One Rose" co-written with Marty Funderburk and Mike Richards). Haun also gives nods and kudos to Brian Free & Assurance for their nomination for Southern Gospel Song of the Year ("Long As I Got King Jesus") and the Christ Tabernacle Choir for Contemporary Gospel Recorded Song of the Year ("The Presence Of The Lord"). "I am so honored to be a part of these recordings, and I'm very excited about the program this year. I want to extend a big congrats to Marty Funderburk on his first nomination. This has been a long time coming. I also want to say a huge thank you to Tracey Phillips for her part in the instrumental recording." says Haun.
